Module 1
The CUBE Model

The story follows Britt Marshall, a young, ambitious product leader whose startup was acquired to create change for a conservative organization.
Module 3
Understand Each Others’ Worlds - Britt & Dan
Britt and VP of Engineering Dan Tolosky never got off on the right foot, but she constantly has to interact with him. Dan openly disrespects her in front of his team. Britt has to face this problem head on…but how?
In this scenario, we look at how to use empathy and UNDERSTANDING to diffuse tension and antagonism in others.
Module 2
Creating Context - Britt & Roger
Britt Marshall’s tech company was recently acquired by a much older, established firm. As the newly installed VP of Product, she wants to make an impression. But it quickly becomes clear in her first meeting with CEO Roger Hawkes that they are not on the same page, and a critical goal for her team is shut down. How should she handle this?
In this module, we will focus on using CONTEXT as a key communication tool.
Module 4
Brainstorming Options - Britt & Arnold
Jet-lagged and missing home, Britt is blindsided by VP of Customer Service, Arnold Green. Her team made a major mistake and contacted customers without her permission. Britt has to build on previous skills to diffuse the situation while working with Arnold to find a solution going forward.
In this scenario, we look at the DOs and DON’Ts for creative BRAINSTORMING, and how to harness it for problem-solving.
Module 5
Ending With Clear Commitments - Britt & Susan
Britt and VP of Marketing, Susan Denniger, have become fast friends, which is good because Britt has been harboring a major ambition: she wants to change the name of her new company. She needs Susan’s help, but the veteran marketer is hesitant. How can Britt concrete action from Susan to advance her agenda.
In this scenario, we look at the power of “by when”, and how to END conversations with clear, committed action.
Module 6
The Big Meeting - Putting CUBE to Work
The big meeting that Britt has been preparing for is finally here. But almost immediately, simmering conflicts threaten to derail her presentation. Britt must now rely on the skills learned from previous scenarios to get her goals back on track.
Our final scenario is a more ‘gamified’ experience, with users having to make multiple decisions to reach a successful conclusion to the meeting while drawing on previous lessons learned.
