Cesar's coaching style helps executives build more accurate maps of themselves and their environment so they can navigate effectively towards their goals and truly unleash their potential. He is a 2018 On Being Fellow, a finalist for the 2017 American Express Leadership Prize, and the former CEO of StartingBloc.As CEO for four years, Cesar’s team managed 16 institutes that trained 1,000’s of people and welcomed 1,200 new Fellows. Before his tenure at StartingBloc, he spent 8 years as a software engineer who worked on both hardware and software.

Cesar's clients include venture-backed CEOs, CTOs, TechStar entrepreneurs, Obama Fellows, and executives at several public companies.

Cesar holds a BS from the California Institute of Technology in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is originally from Lima, Peru and he has lived on four continents and speaks three languages. Today, he's planted himself on the front range of the Rockies with his wife and child, and their stubborn spaniel, Copper Goose.
